Back from vacation with my Mom, Ex-future husband, and his Mom

My trip went wonderfully with my ex-future husband.... perhaps he can win back the future husband deal yet?

So I drove to Eauclair Wisconsin, and found the hotel right away after fighting with the crazy Wisconsin drivers in my manual. I entered the hotel and found my room (they had odds on one half of the building and evens on the other half... how confusing). Then I went to gather more stuff and Adam, Adam's friend Ryan, and Adam's little brother Jaime pulled up in Adam's Dodge pickup (he spent 3 times more on gas then me... heeheeeheee:)). I then proceeded to tell Adam he was going the wrong way, and that evens were the other way. Adam grinned at this and laughed and I wasn't sure why... then I found out, I thought Adam was staying in his Mom's room which was next to ours, but apparently the hotel gave him a free room, which was luckily in the same hall as us (So I didn't look like to much of an idiot). After this I went to Adam's Mom's room and her other son Phil was there with his girlfriend, which was GREAT because Phil's girlfriend had this threatened, puzzled look on her face for almost an hour observing me. After an hour, I overheard her ask Phil who I was, and then she relaxed. I am Adam's Mom's horseback riding friend of course, what is so hard about that? Next we went to the fight, and again I saw Adam take his shirt off :( :( :( :( :( :( :(. Hmmm... Adam has lost weight but man was his arm nasty... all black and.... well... ummm... white.... yes tattos... the whole arm!!!!! Yes, guys......I hate to say it, but women notice these things. To top things off Adam grins during the whole fight and laughs as he gets pounded in the face and kicked... and he was fighting a HUGE guy... I thought it was all over when I first saw the other guy, but Adam held his own, and over all it was a good fight with a tie the first round, Adam winning the second, and Adam losing the third. The end result.... the first judge said 29/28 Adam's favor... second judge 28/29 other guys favor... third judge 29/28 Adam's favor...... heeheeeheee Adam won. Unfortunately his brother Jaime got pummeled, but on the plus side he got pummeled gracefully and never gave up no matter how bad he was getting beat up.... plus some white collar kick boxing dude told Adam and Jaime that he wanted them to fight live on ESPN....hmmmmmmm....... Adam better get a tattoo on the other arm before then to balance out... you wouldn't want to be unbalanced now would you? After the fight we all went back to Adam's room for some healthy banter with his brothers, his Mom, his Dad, his kick boxing trainer and his wife (who run the sheep ranch we do the cattle drives on). I had a lot of fun picking on Adam, and getting to know Ryan. Hmmm... I thought I didn't get along with Adam's type of friends, but I was wrong this guy was good looking, polite, a lot of fun, and he had colorful tattos running up both arms, but he owns a tattoo shop in Duluth so it was understandable... advertising of course!!!! What fun.... and on the way home my Mom stated, "You know it is quite obvious that Adam likes you, he just doesn't know what you think of him." Hmmm..... well he needs to get some guts then and pursue.... Men, it is there job. I also found out from Adam's Mom that Ryan was his best friend and they got into deep conversations with each other... hmmmm.... new perspective... perhaps I was over hasty in my judgements of Adam.... perhaps I could reconsider him as a future husband...?!??! hmmmm..... after he gets some guts to pursue!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After the fight we went to the horse expo, and even though I sold my car to some twenty year old kid (*sob* He better be good to it), I still managed to spend very little of the money in my check book, and have a lot of fun. So me, my Mom, and Adam's Mom tooled around the horse expo, spent the night in a hotel in the cities, and headed home Sunday morning..... I spent more time with Adam's Mom in the end... and I still like her better :)
