Land of the Loon

So, I went to the Land of the Loon street dance for a bit this year..... and the whole thing was wrong, just wrong, I didn't know what to make of it. First off, I went down with my friend's Wes and Kristen and their baby. We walked around for a little while, and Wes met up with a buddy of his. After a while, their buddy ran off to grab a burger, and Wes and Kristen left, but I needed to stay up late, so I wandered off without them, promptly running into their friend, who had a burger in hand, and a perplexed look wondering where his friends had gone. I explained that they needed to get home, and he then asked me to walk around with him. Sure why not? So I wandering around getting to know someone new for the first couple hours, passing my brother's friend Scott several times and waving. Well, I had promised Scott I would get a hold of him and run him down eventually, so I begged my leave of Wes's friend, and found Scott. Me and Scott then ran into two more of my brother's friends, one of which was drunk and felt the need to apologize profusely for picking on me when I was younger *rolls eyes* Oh please.... help me! He then felt the need to explain that he doesn't really get drunk like that often... over and over again. Yikes!!!! Okay I probably shouldn't have been at a street dance if I wanted to avoid drunk people right? So I asked where my brother was, and one of them said that my brother was at home and only wanted to play pool? Hmmmm... so they seemed to enjoy my company and I couldn't find many people I wanted to hang out with, so why not? So, I ran around with my brother's three friends and a few other guys and quickly realized men are pathetic.... all three were hitting on me.... !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My brother's friends?!?? Ummmmm..... I would like to say they were all drunk to ease my conscience, but only one was, the others don't really drink. What would my brother think???? So the one insisted on getting me a diet coke, which I tried to reject... but was unable to. Then my brother's other friend bought me a meal, which I would have rejected but he was drunk and insisted on paying for everyones meals, and you don't argue with a drunk person.... so yeah.... ummm... I didn't know what to make of the whole night, it was rather odd.... hang otu with a stranger for two hours, then your brother's friends who are trying to chase women and are hitting on you..................?????? Yikes...... last I checked 51% of the population are female... and why rush, single is good and fun..... enjoy while it lasts I say......

sounds like a lot of fun, and if you let all the guys buy you something its not as bad as letting just one...then they all feel special without any "Extra" added to it.
