Kick Boxing Adventures!

So, I got the chance to go with my family to the Hinckly Casino to watch Lori's son's kick boxing matches. Adam had originally had his fight cancelled, but last minute another guy's partner cancelled out, and he still wished to fight before his family, so Adam's trainer Frank (the manager of Sheep Ranch) set up an exhibition fight (where they are not fighting, just showing technique). So for Adam's exhibition fight, I got to see him with his shirt off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh..... ummmm.... I mean, I got to see Adam's technique which was great, he is good. It is odd to see guys deck each other, and kick each other and then smile at one another while fighting. Usually they don't smile, but since it was a exhibition, they could relax some. Adam, of course, would have kicked this guy to no wheresville had it been a real fight. The referee had to seperate the two, and tell Adam to let the other guy finish the fight. I guess his mock hits were getting a little too hard. The best part about the whole fight was watching Frank's girl fighter Deedee. What a little tiger, my word. I don't think I would mess with the 4 foot tiger. She knocked down a tree and won! Jaime, Adam's brother fought too, and he lost his first fight :(..... He did an awesome job, and gave it his all. When he accidently fell on his opponent, he even helped the guy up. Wow, after some guy almost breaks my nose and kicks me to no end, I don't know if I could do that!!!!!! I might offer my hand, and then let go while he is half-way picked up off the ring floor :). Over all it was great. Here I thought it would be hard to watch friends get punched and kicked, but instead I wanted to yell, knock um out, lay them down, punch their lights out, but I refrained and politely behaved myself.

So the moral of the story: I got to see Adam with his shirt off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
