Red Wing is finally home!
Sorry everyone, I have been busy and I haven't had the chance to get to the library lately. I am amazed at how busy I am all of a sudden! Red Wing finally feels like home a year after I moved here. I attribute the "homey" feeling to being busy and being more settled into the community. Now, I have Mac and Cheryl (the horse trainers I try to kill myself at) that I pop in to visit, my horse to ride, Lynette from where I board my horse to talk to and to help with her horses, and Rob to talk to (poor him!). God has been good, and is finally starting to open doors again.
I have also had a lot of visitors. Tom came down last week and we went to the Mall of America and a Go Kart track. Hmmmm... 15 dollars for 8 minutes.... not a recommended recreation activity money wise. Shopping I can handle because I am good at not buying things unless I really need them. I had fun roaming around, watching TV, and chatting. This week my Mom came down and we rode horse (she borrowed one from the lady I board from). I was riding at a fast pace, man my horse can kick it down ( I best not make her angry). I am trying to work on my horse's leads (the inside foot should be more foreward then the outside when taking a corner = lead). We also went to visit my Mom's horse that is at the trainers ( I different trainer in St. Cloud). It is great having visitors and going out and having some fun. A few weeks before all this I went to the Horse Expo and bought some reins and learned some training techniques.
